With slightly over a month to go before the projected arrival of baby Shields, I thought I'd try this whole "blog" thing out in the hopes of keeping family and friends posted on his development and milestones along the way.
I am happy to report that I have been blessed with a rather uneventful pregnancy to date--no morning sickness, cravings, unusual aches and pains, etc. As I come down the final stretch of this pregnancy, it is abundantly clear to me just how blessed Bob and I are to have such amazingly wonderful and supportive family and friends. Everyone is just so excited about the pending arrival of our little one, and it warms my heart to know he is very much loved already.
We are expecting him to arrive on May 13, although anytime after Bob's final art show on May 8 is just fine with us. Please continue to keep us in your thoughts and prayers as we begin this parenthood journey.
